What is Kaal Sarp dosha?

When all seven planets from the Sun to Saturn lie on one side of Rahu and Ketu at birth, the chart is said to have Kaal Sarp yoga. Twelve types (Anant, Kulik, Vasuki and so on) are named by the house Rahu is in.

This yoga is not in the classical Parashari texts. Modern panchangs and astrologers follow it, and how much weight it carries differs by tradition. The effect depends on the whole kundli.
